The Broncos aren’t the only team in the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes. (Obviously.)

Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas made the rounds Wednesday campaigning for his team to bring in the veteran quarterback this offseason.

“We have $118 million in cap space. So we have plenty of money to do what we want,” Thomas told ESPN. “But I would actually sign Kirk Cousins. And then I would use the first and fourth pick on the best players available. Probably (Penn State running back) Saquon Barkley and one of the defensive players. So all of a sudden you’re a heck of a lot better immediately overnight.”

Thomas has protected 20 different quarterbacks during his tenure with the Browns and made it clear he wants Cousins to be No. 21.

Earlier this month, Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall was dropping hints on NFL Network that he’d like to see Cousins land in Denver.

“We played against a guy in Week 16 that was pretty good,” Marshall said, alluding to Cousins.

But the Washington Redskins QB is in no hurry to make a decision.

“I see us taking our time. I see us waiting and being patient,” Cousins told a fan forum in Virginia earlier this month, adding that he believes the Redskins are “all-in” on trying to sign him long term.

Meanwhile, the Broncos this week are at the Senior Bowl evaluating quarterbacks they could take with the No. 5 overall pick, including Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen.

All options remain on the table.
