EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Stefon Diggs knows better than anyone how well Pat Shurmur features playmakers.

And on Thursday, the star of Sunday’s Minneapolis Miracle walk-off touchdown told the Daily News that Odell Beckham Jr. should look forward to thriving under Shurmur as Giants head coach “because Pat knows how to get people the ball.”

“As a player, (Beckham) does a lot of things well, so it’s gonna be a fun offense for him to be in,” Diggs, 24, who came into the NFL in 2015 one year behind Beckham, said after practice at Winter Park on Thursday. “Because Pat knows how to get people the ball. He’s special. Good coach.”

Diggs has risen to cult hero status after catching Case Keenum’s pass on a deep corner route on Shurmur’s “Buffalo Right Seven Heaven” play call last weekend and sprinting 61 yards for the first-ever walk-off regulation playoff touchdown to beat the New Orleans Saints.

Beckham, 25, tweeted “wow” along with the rest of the world watching, and when Shurmur’s expected hire by the Giants was announced the next day, Beckham tweeted: “God really works in mysterious ways. Let the journey begin … I’m geeeked.”

And Diggs, who combined with first-team All-Pro teammate Adam Thielen for 155 catches, 2,125 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, said that is what Shurmur does: set the table for the talent on the field to make plays.

“He’s gonna call plays that work for you,” Diggs said. “He’s gonna do what you’re good at. He’s not gonna make it hard. He’s gonna make it as easy on you as possible. Whatever you’re good at, he’s gonna let you do. That’s it. As a player that’s what you want. So whatever you do well, he’s gonna let you do it to the best of your ability — and a lot.”

Music to OBJ’s ears.
