Ten Titans Who Stood Out in OTAs, Minicamp

NASHVILLE – The Titans wrapped up their offseason practices this week at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

I watched all of the OTAs and both days of the two-day minicamp.

Here's a look at 10 players who stood out:

WR Adam Humphries – Consistently caught the ball. Has really quick feet, and gets open in a hurry. Will be a big factor in 2019.

LB Rashaan Evans – Looks much more comfortable in Year 2. Plays faster, and he got into the backfield as a rusher on numerous occasions as well.

S Amani Hooker – Doesn't look like a rookie. Has really good instincts, and is very mature as a player for his first two months on the job.

RB David Fluellen – After adding 16-17 pounds since the end of last season, Fluellen is ready to contribute even more. He can now add fullback to his Swiss Army knife of roles.

QB Marcus Mariota – Wasn't perfect all offseason, and had some off days. But Mariota had many more good days than bad ones by far. And he looks confident after his own weight gain.

CB Malcolm Butler – Was aggressive in one-on-one drills and was consistently around the ball, making plays. His feisty attitude has returned.

WR Corey Davis – Regularly went up high to make catches, and has improved his body control – a focus for him this offseason. Has also taken rookie receiver A.J. Brown under his wing.

LB Jayon Brown – After starring in drills last offseason, I thought Brown would have a breakout season, and he did. Brown has been just as impressive this offseason.

RT Dennis Kelly – With Jack Conklin sidelined, Kelly has had even more time to make a case for himself. As usual, he's been dependable, while proving to be a solid option.

S Kevin Byard – The fourth-year pro has focused on his play instead of questions about his contract, and he's performed well. Had an interception in this week's minicamp.
